I have been a wedding planner for over 7 years, I know how to bring your vision to life,
which vendors will suit you better and where to find the perfect venue for you.
I can guide through the planning process step by step so that you can enjoy it
without sacrificing all of your free time, stressing about the nightmarish Italian bureaucracy
and ultimately losing focus on what really matters to you.
The most important thing to me is the opportunity to develop a relationship with you
that will allow me to really understand you and your story.
As much as I love helping couples in love get their perfect day, to ensure an excellent quality of service,
I can only take on a limited number of projects every year.

Full Wedding Planning
From helping you decide on where in Italy you would like to get married to the thank you cards you will send when you get home, I can design the wedding you've always wanted and make it happen.
We will work together via email and we can arrange Skype calls, I will provide you with choices for vendors that I know and find new ones just for you, I will keep you constantly updated with any progress and ensure that through it all you're always in control but never stressed out.
This is the right service for you if you know you want to get married in Italy but don't know where to start, if you want to enjoy your day...and the ones leading up to it, if you want to make the most out of your budget and if you want to have a truly beautiful wedding, full of meaning and memories to cherish.
Whatever your reasons, this service allows you to focus on what's really important to you, while I make sure that your vision will be executed at best in a smooth and stress-free process.
How it works:

I will listen to your ideas, thoughts and worries to make sure you will have the wedding you deserve

I will be available to you via email anytime you need me, to support you and help you in any way I can

I will research venues that will fit the mood you're looking for and schedule an on-site inspection to provide you with pictures and videos

I can assist you with your own custom ceremony script and will find the right celebrant and interpreter.

I will take care of the notoriously hellish Italian bureaucracy

I will come up with a project worthy of your dreams

I will research and select the most talented vendors to execute your wedding project just how you want it

I will collect, translate and negotiate proposals and contracts when needed and coordinate their work both during the planning process and on the day of your wedding

I will create and manage a timeline of the day of your wedding

I will be present on your special day, providing assistance to you and your guests while directing the whole event
To book this service please contact me at least 6 months in advance. For June to September weddings please note that most venues and photographers are usually booked 12 months in advance, especially if you want it to be a Saturday wedding.
As my service is fully customized, I can also help you with a partial consultation. So if you already have the venue or any other vendor can still help you to make sure everything will come well together.
Elopement Planning and Coordination
A wedding celebration just for the two of you. It will be lovely!
Choosing this option means putting the focus on you and your love alone, away in another Country, surrounded by a magical atmosphere that I will be very happy to create for you.
The process and level of quality you can expect is the same that I apply to the full wedding planning.
The difference is that being just the two of you gives a wider variety of options in the venues department and I will make sure to provide you with the most unusual and exclusive ones.
If this is your choice I would advise you to contact me up to 3 months in advance. Please note that June to September are highly requested months, so photographers and venues are often booked 12 months in advance.

When we decided to come to Italy for our wedding, we almost immediately realized that we were going to need some local help. Greta Bretton and her team were extremely helpful to us and really took the stress out of our big day – and just left us having a beautiful, fun and romantic weekend for us and all of our guests.
Meeting via Skype was very easy and Greta took care of all the practical stuff on behalf of us. Our Danish, Nordic style and the taste is very different from the Italian style, and we used Pinterest to have a common place to share ideas and visuals for the day. That was helpful to both Greta and us since we were very far apart during the planning process.
We would definitely recommend Greta to anyone having an event of any kind in Italy. It is just very different from hosting a party in your own country, and Greta has a lot of good connections and a lot of know-how. Among other things, she hooked us up with the best, local caterer, who came to our house with his entire team of cooks and waiters and just delivered an incredible feast and the most gorgeous wedding cake!"
